A pair of ladies' silver, evening cocktail gloves in 61% rayon, 13% nylon, 26% luminex jersey. Inseam chainstitch. Made in England in 1960-1980.

A shortie glove with palm vent. Metallic yarns became freely available during the late 1960' and were very fashionable for all types of clothing and accessories.

Made by Royal Warrant holder Cornelia James for evening and cocktail wear, etc.

Donated by Cornelia James Ltd. Returned by Museum of London in 2007.
